The girls enjoyed their holiday with their cousins at Deanna's and Nana and Papas. Talk about spoiled! They sure had a good time. Here is a good photo of Madison! She sure is growing fast. We went to Sonoma for three nights of relaxation at the Sonoma Chalet. We read the description as a secluded comfortable cottage, but when we got there, we realized that it was slightly run down, and that the furniture and bed needed to be replaced 15 years ago. I usually don't have problems with beds, but each morning I woke up with a sore back and each time I sat on the couch, I realized it was lumpy and lacked springs. Definitely not worth $200 a night! It reminded me a crummy college furniture. On the up side, the breakfast was wonderful.
Madison had her first experience rock climbing
at a rock gym in downtown Portland. Tim had given her a certificate for
her Christmas present and took her there. The first time she got most
of the way up and and found that coming down is just as fun as going
up.
Cara and Madison were both signed up for kid-ski this winter and really
experienced the snow! We have wonderful photos that I need to get off
of my camera but cannot at the moment. The download is not working.
Cara skis like a champ now and Madison goes down on the snowboard. Tim
and I are going to have real fun taking them snowboard/skiing next
year.
